Decami Project

The main objectives of the project are

  • to develop the knowledge, professional, personal, methodological, social and digital competences of educators of public and non-public sectors organisations by the form of mixed-mode learning,
  • to increase level of supporting, advisory, counselling and educational services for refugees, migrants and immigrants in public and non-public organisations by developing Supervision Program in provision of migration supporting services,
  • to promote social inclusion of refugees, migrants and immigrants by developing motivational videos with educational and inspirational content for encouraging and rehabilitating
  • to facilitate lifelong learning of educators in public institutions and non-public organisations
  • to improve the quality and increasing the intensity and volume of cooperation between public, non-public organisations, universities and other stakeholders in promoting integration process of migrants by creating, developing and strengthening national and transnational partnership networks.

Main results of the project are

  • DECAMI Research Review - new scientific approaches in facilitation migration processes in TR and EU countries
  • DECAMI Modular Mixed-Mode Learning Programme for Educators to increase their knowledge, personal, methodological, social and digital competences in provision of migration supporting services
  • DECAMI Supervision Programme to promote the quality and level of migration supporting services
  • DECAMI Motivational Videos to promote social inclusion of refugees, migrants and immigrants with educational and inspirational content for encouraging and rehabilitating
  • Interactive Online Portal

We will contribute to the development and consolidation of knowledge and competences of educators in public and nonpublic organizations who will be able to provide services for refugees, migrants and immigrants on a higher quality level. By applying the acquired competencies in everyday practice, as well as motivational videos, they will contribute to increasing migrants’ access to quality education and thus support social inclusion. The creation of cross-sectoral partnerships at local, regional, national and international levels will also contribute to the creation of inclusive environments.

The development, pilot testing and implementation of the Modular Mixed-Mode Learning Programme into application practice and applying the Supervision Programme will contribute to the development and strengthening of knowledge, skills and competences of educators and thus to the provision of support services for migrants in a more efficient and effective way. Employees will be able to use better and more innovative advisory, counselling and training procedures even in more demanding situations.

We will create within the project educational materials in flexible forms according to the requirements of the 21st century, which will be accessible on the Interactive Online Portal.
